Luxembourg is a country surrounded by France, Belgium and Germany and famous for its beauty and richness; they have the biggest GDP per capita in the world. The country takes its name from the main city and capital, Luxembourg. Exactly the same spelling, amazing isn’t it?

Weather
I went there this year at the end of June and I was impressed by the city’s beauty, coming from its medieval feel and positioning. I only spent there a few hours with amazing continental summer. The temperature was +30ºC.
Transport
I didn’t use any of their trams or busses, but rest assured, everything is peaceful and you can get anywhere with ease. It is your choice if you want to walk or take the transport. I would recommend walking. I was there with my personal car and parked in the central square underground parking and paid for about 2-3 hours only 1.20 Euros.
Culture
Once there you will see a lot of fancy cars, some you’ve never seen before, sign that their wealth is true. They speak French, German and English, so if you know one of these you’re all set. They have influences from France and Germany alike and if you’re worried about how welcoming they are, I can say you will feel like home.
Attractions
I didn’t have time to enjoy the city, but the way it was built on the cliffs is amazing and you have to visit the river valley and their natural park with arched bridges.
Nightlife
Oh, I wish I knew more to share with you, but I will go back for more. Just go and make a fool out of yourself. They have enough bars, restaurants and probably clubs. There ar a lot of young people and tourists to mingle with.
Shopping
Being the richest country in the world by size, with some of the richest people, you can imagine that at this chapter you’ll be satisfied. Go spend you money with prices a bit cheaper than London.
Food
They have chocolate culture and you’ll find shops scattered everywhere. Enjoy a multitude of fancy restaurants and bars where you can relax and live in the present. As a fast food alternative you can visit a turkish place called Istanbul Kebab. The portions are decent and also the price, for something on the go. For a soup there is a place nearby, à La Soupe, and for artisan chocolate go to Cathy Goedert and tell the beautiful women there I sent you. No, don’t do that, just playing with you. 🙂
